I took my sanity score quiz; the norm number,
except for PTSD. came out 92%. not real sure
as to why? I have dealt w my sex abuse issues
already, but cannot figure out what else? or..
maybe I do and I put it on back burner..
conveniently "forgot"? gotta ask T, and Pdoc.
I am emotionally bein abused currently by mom,
38 yrs old, etc... but I have not really dealt w
a break up, which tore me apart. Idk???

The effects can still haunt you. And PTSD never fully goes away. Being currently abused can reactivate the past issues, too.

ptsd symptoms can linger long after the abuse and when we think we have dealt with it. i thought that i had taken care of it and have been doing well not experiencing ptsd symptoms but i have major anxiety. turns out its because i haven't really dealt with the trauma, only buried it. now that i am dealing with the trauma in therapy, the anxiety is reducing. it is such a tangled web. take care.
