Yoga is very grounding for me (youtube beginners yoga Adrienne) and meditation of any sort. Following the breath brings awareness to the present.
Music helps. Not following it but staying centered. Takes me daily exercise and meditation.

Yup, a tough workout helps. Being with people I care about helps.

Music - I listen obsessively all day. It helps.

Sunshine I will keep you in my silent prayers. We will get through this somehow, I keep telling myself, and somehow I do.
Have you got any soft gentle music. A shower and curling up in bed with a book and music is one of my escapes. If you can't read, just the music.

Soft and gentle music doesn't cut it for me - gotta be up tempo and loud.

Thank you so much. Yes I light candles and listen to Sara McLaughlin, tori Amos, and the cranberries. Sometimes I just do guided meditations. You're in my thoughts and prayers too.

I have bp 1 disorder to so reading isn't much help. Except for a couple of passages from "the language of flowers." It's about a girl that was raised in the foster care system. But it's about her life after she's aged out. IT IS EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend it. Thanks again.

I stuff all my emotions into a deep dark corner of my mind, then I just detach myself from everyone around me. I admit it's not the healthiest thing to do but it seems to work for me.

I do that too when I'm in a depression. I understand.
