About 2 months ago, when i was driving my car and was trying to take a turn, a speeding bike came scratched along my car and fell down, the driver of the bike was fine but was talking aggressively like it was my mistake and called about 15 of his friends , while the pillion rider was in acute pain. I had told i will take care of the medical expenses of this pillion rider and take care of his bike because of i scared of the number of people and them getting aggressive.

I had taken care of the medical expenses of this pillion rider and i was told he had no injury and nothing to worry about by the doctor, at the same time i thought it was their mistake so i didnt pay for thier bike expenses and didn't pick their calls up.

Now, I am scared to even get on my car and drive, even when i drive i tend to look at the mirror to check if i am being followed by the mob for money even after 2 months from the accident.

I dont know how to over come it whilst my parents and friends say it is unlikely that you will be followed and get on with your life and it happens. I am still scared as if the mob is going to attack me for cheating them according to their senses.

I wish you could give me some suggestion or tips to over come this kind of fears and help me get back in my life

THanks

Thank you for introducing yourself to us.

Welcome to Psych Central.

This is a great place to be for online support.

I am really sorry to hear that you have suffered this significant event and are still suffering today as a result of it.

I wonder what sort of treatment you are receiving for this?

I found this interesting article here on Psych Central you may choose to read -

Treatment of PTSD | Psych Central

The effects of this trauma are explained in this article:

Understanding the Effects of Trauma: Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) | Psych Central

There are a number of Forums here at Psych Central that you are free to browse around. Consider this like your personal Library. Nobody knows what you are looking at really. I could be busy reading Charlie Brown and the Chocolate Factory Book right now paging through the Chapter on Oompa Loompas and you wouldn’t know.

So don’t worry about what Books your Read. You are free to Browse all you like. If you feel like it, you are free to enter a Chapter in a Book in this Library that is available to you. You do this by Creating a Post. Research has shown that those who choose to actively Write gain more from their experience in online forums. You are free to choose whether you Browse or whether you Write a Chapter. If you write a Chapter, please anticipate a response to your Chapter that you have contributed towards our Magnificent Library. And in doing so you unconsciously help others Browse our Special Library too and provide members unknown Knowledge that we are not alone. There are so many just like us. We all have a different Chapter to write. Or a different Book to Read. But there are many of us here at Psych Central that keeps this Library of Knowledge alive. Thank you for being a part of this.

If you need any help or support navigating the site please feel free to contact one our Community Liaisons. We will be happy to help you.

May you find the comfort and support that you deserve.

Take care.
