I'm NOT going to sleep again until i get to the doctor tomorrow to see if there Are any meds out there to make this stop........ oh geesh, i sure hope there is.

If anyone bored or there, i will be on and off all nite! !

(((It12345))) I take Cymbalta which causes terrible nightmares for me. I was afraid to sleep too.

I found that taking a prescribed sleeping pill and 0.25mg of Ativan also prescribed gets me into a deep enough sleep that the dreams are not as vivid and I don't remember them as well when I wake up.

I'm sorry you are afraid to sleep. I've been there. I hope your doctor can help.

Have you tried calming tea or meditation or calming music or other soothing ways to help you rest? I wouldn't give up on the entire night. Even resting could be more beneficial than trying to stay awake. I am sorry that you are having nightmares.

Hope your doc can help you.
Thanks for this!

Thanks guys. Definitely staying up for this night. Rented a bunch of movies. Watching divergent now. Problem is even when i do finally fall asleep the nightmares happen so i don't think a sleeping pull will cut it. I have used melatonin, tryptophan, benedryl, and yes other 'calming' methods. Could fight through it before the dreams but now there is no escape.

I am hoping with the movies the night will go by fast.

Good morning 88888.

No, my appointment is at noon and toys will be the first request. Was that for dreams or just to help you get to sleep and stay asleep?

(((It12345))) How did your Dr's appointment go? I hope you were able to get some sleep minus the nightmares.
