Matt Kearney is playing
major trigger
i was kicked out .....
and forced to be homeless and jump from home to home of my friends
for a year and a half
of my high school life
and one friend (major friend) played this song with me...as we flew through most of the year trying to act like we didnt care....(she lived with her grandparents...i think thats why they took me in all the time)
later she fell in with the wrong group, drank alot, smoked pot, and ditched me and her family....she told me she had hated me for three whole years...even when i lived with her....(im thinking because her grandmother clung to me because her granddaughter went down the wrong path...i tried to stop her....i tried to save her...in the end...i was kicked out....in the end my friend hated me for it...in the end i lost
devisating....
shes now 20....has one child...works at walmart...and lives with her bf and his parents.....and does drugs

InACorner,
music can sure do that, can't it? and smells, some foods too can just take me back to those times...

I can relate to living on my own while finishing high school. I had a friend who brought me hot oatmeal for breakfast in the parking lot for awhile after I left where I was living. I'm sorry for your friend, and glad you had some elders that cared for you.

(((Inny)))

It sounds like you really miss your friend. My hunch is that if she enters recovery and is able to give up drugs you may find your friendship again. But you did the right thing, you tried to help her.....she just wasn't ready.

So sorry you are reliving this pain.

We will be your friends here!!!
