My memory of the event is skectchy. I more remember the emotions associated with it. I cannot tell who and I haven't a clue when. I have one solid memory before Grade 4 - and that was starting school and realising other kids were different from me - they were happy.
I struggle, not only with lasting emotions created by the event but that I feel robbed of my childhood. |

If you were only 4, it would make sense that what you remember the most is your emotions. Children that age have so little life experience they don't have the capacity to know very much.
I am sorry you feel like your childhood was robbed, but your life is not robbed, you "can" still discover, enjoy the magic, and explore. You are old enough to understand how to find spaces that you feel "safe" in too. We are children really all our lives, we learn and grow all our lives too. When we age we slowly gain more knowledge to learn better, always remember that. (((Caring Supportive Hugs))) OE |
