well... My MD called me Monday, says she just talked with my attorney. She was requesting authorization for me to see that new medical pain management doctor the end of July. My attorney gave her the what for, supposedly telling her that I have refused to see any pain specialists! So my MD called me to say that my attorney told HER to have ME send 9the attorney) a written request for the authorization.

Ok. I'm trying to see the good in this! What my attorney said is not true. I have not refused to see any pain specialists, they haven't bothered to send me to one. <font color=blue>

There was a bad situation where the opposition/insurance company attorney gave out my private contact information to a quack (certified) doctor who tried to say I had talked with them and made appointments I didn't keep.... none of which happened.

So. This is good, right? My attorney not allowing my doctor to order me to see someone. (Even though my attorney is not approaching it that way, and is just being obstinate and ignorant.)

I'm confused. But I hope it's good, and if you think it is, then I'm with you.

Sky this situation sounds nuts. It must be so frustrating to have people misrepresenting you. The good news is that it sounds like you can get some help if you follow through with the request. It also sounds like a talk with your lawyer would be a good idea. Sounds like he's confused. I'm sorry you're having to deal with all this craziness. I hope you can get some good help. My best to you! Annie
