I just got home from a 16 day vacation with my boyfriend. Visiting him where he lives. Its the first time we have slept in the same room. We have been friends for 11 years and decided to start dating about 10 months ago.

He asked me almost every morning how I slept the night before and would tell me I would wake up screaming. Yelling. He couldnt make out what I was saying. One night he asked me after i got up and used the bathroom whag was wrong and I told him the voices where back again. I eventually fell back to sleep. I had no recollection of this happening. Him asking me or getting out of bed.

Is this normal? I have an appointment with my therapist on Tuesday. We are currently engaging in CPT work. Should i bring this up?

This could explain why I sleep so much and feel tired all the time. If I am coherent of some sort at night and not realizing it.

Apparently I cry and freak out in my sleep. I remember the flashback nightmares but rarely ever a recollection of freaking out and my fiance having to calm me down. I often wake up tired and my body's sore sometimes, but I never really knew why until my fiance mentioned it to me prior to going to therapy. It's good to tell things like this to your therapist in the long run. They can often offer tips on how to deal with/manage it. In the long run, it'll pay off to inform your therapist.
