Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone was dealing with Acute Stress Disorder. I would like to just talk with you and see how you are dealing with it. |

Hello justawondering: Well... I've certainly struggled with a boatload of anxiety pretty-much my whole life. But I've never actually been given a formal diagnosis. Plus I'm an old codger.

Well I think I had this the end of last year. Saw a therapist weekly for several months, but now have PTSD from the event (after a certain period of time they no longer call it acute distress disorder). Not in crisis mode from that anymore. Now its my C-PTSD thats impacting me as well as anxiety attacks and depression. I do get occasional flashbacks from the "event".
But the therapy did help me a lot.
