Well it finally is rolling along.

I was informed yesterday that they got my application and on first review it seems complete. It has now been sent to an adjudicator who will further review it before making recommendations and elevating it up the line. I am told the average wait is 36-42 weeks (geeze). So now the waiting game. Always a waiting game.

Does anyone out there have an experience with this. Specifically, if you were awarded benefits, was it a monthly pension or lump sum payment?

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about Canadian veteran's benefits. All I can tell you is that my husband is a veteran and receives benefits on a monthly basis.

Hope the process is easier there in Canada than it is in the USA. It's a nightmare. First review almost always gets denied, it's their way of getting you to hire an attorney. It's a racket.
