MY adopted mother has been dead since 04!!!! Why does she continue to haunt me????? I can still hear her threatening to have me arrested because I wanted to join the Marines instead of the army!!!!! "You'll join the Army or I'll call the sheriff and have you put in jail!!!!!!". I can still hear her laughing at me when someone would bully me!!!!!! Why will that fat ***** not die???????

Trauma like that is not easy to get over. Professional therapy is what's usually needed to recover from such abuse.

Both of my parents are dead, and I still deal with the flashbacks. It took some intensive therapy to manage them so they don't trigger me as much.
Thanks for this!
