Thanks, carrie_ann.

I'm feeling the weight of the stuff I have yet to divulge to R, and pre-emptive frustration at not being able to get everything out in the time that remains to us. (Two weeks, then a three week break...and then who knows.)

What I don't understand is that I can be fine one minute, and then I'm back there again.

How are you today?

I'm doing pretty good, except for bad memories that keep popping up. I manage them so it's okay.

Hi folks, I'm jumping in here because I have PTSD from a natural disaster, and I was triggered the other day and had a panic attack that started at work. It was so exhausting, and two days later I'm still feeling off balance and seeking attention from people. Memories of the trauma make me panic and desperate for someone to save me, so I get very needy and clingy with the people in my life. Sometimes it's kind of inappropriate. This is difficult for everyone.

Thank you all for being here and understanding.

I lost this thread for a while...

I'm closer to the precipice than I was when I wrote my first post here. Three more sleeps until my last session before the break. Either it all comes out then, or I'm stewing with it for three weeks.

I was triggered on Saturday & friends saw me shake from head to toe & dissociate. It took me a long time to move past it & was completely exhausted afterwards. I couldn't sleep & was completely unsettled. I just wish that I could have some warning!!! At least then I might be prepared!! Anyone would think I was about to be killed by a tiger! Trying to explain to those who don't suffer is really difficult & quite frustrating at times.
