After a week of holding everything together, I find myself alone in my house, sitting on the sofa, wine in hand, staring at the darkened window, drizzle and chill air outside... black hills in the distance... no sound out there, not even an owl.
I won't see anyone for the next two days. I have a boyfriend, a caring and cool person, but he's away. The week has taken so much out of me. I don't know how I can keep doing it again and again. |

It's hard holding everything together, maybe having some time to be alone and let go for a while can be good?

I'm trying to see it like that... time alone can be important. Tearful last night, and asleep most of today. Not everyone's idea of a fun weekend, but I'll hang in there. |

Thanks for asking, So.
The morning was hellish. I'm in a bad work situation, with a bullying boss. It's pretty humiliating. A bad boss just wears your self confidence down so much. I work closely with them all day every day, so avoiding is impossible. It makes every minute hard to get through. With my issues, I'm not even sure how bad they are, and how much is my hyper sensitivity. A surprising thing happened around midday. I lost my temper with the boss. I'd just had enough. I wonder if joining this forum has helped, as I've never done this before. It was quite a big deal. I practically dragged her to a private corner and let it all out. Said everything I was upset about. The constant criticism. Feeling like I couldn't do anything right. I'm very good at my job, and I don't want to be forced to leave by this unpleasant superior. No, HR can't help. Its not that kind of company Well, yes, so I'm just trying not to think too far ahead now. It's quite possible she'll try to make my working life even harder, but **** it. |

I think it's a big deal that you stood up to her like that. That's an accomplishment you should be proud of.
I wish I could help more. Until I figure out a way to do that, I'll be cheering in your corner.
