I am sorry that your sky fell down and you don't know where to begin picking up the pieces. I am sorry that you are hurt and frightened and confused and alienated.

Please know that you are not alone.

Thank you for sharing this, because times like now I feel so alone when my young daughter sleeps. It's during the evenings that awful memories can take hold, but tonight I've got my older sister's loving company to help me through the memories and crying.

Every day is a fight; what keeps me going is my daughter Peggy. She shares my anguish with her's, promises everything will come out alright if we can just hang in there. Having a heart condition she is very brave, not quite 13 and yet is so optimistic. She was there when the abuse began, she dealt my ex and won, getting her out.

Peggy and I share our feelings. Because saying them out loud gives us affirmation of our ongoing strength and committment to each other. Except today something triggered the loss of my lover, and after that our mother. And then this year the loss of our dog. Today Peg anbd I cried many tears, but it was good to get them done.

Though I'm a jeweller, I used to be a musician. Tonight I am returning to do a performance to a packed venue in London, also tomorrow. It will be the first time my fans get to hear why I disappeared so long ago. Perhaps them, hopefully, they will reaffirm their love. Happily also, Peggy will be accompanying me with some of her songs.

Thank you for being here for me, for your support of my daughter. Returning to this forum always makes me glad.

Our evening was at a private venue, the guests enthusiastic, simply wonderful. Afterwards there was a party. Peggy sneaked a glass of Krug, but I turned a blind eye. At least she has exquisite taste in Champagne.

Throughout the show, Peggy sung like a bird and played brilliantly. The audience went wild for her. I'd taught her well, recently giving her one of my prized, rare acoustic guitars after her singing tutor praised her so highly. I have a feeling my daughter wants to become a professional musician. She recently took up the viola after me, so this may be is where talent is heading, though she's sharp with figures. I love how musically talented Peggy is, though. She says I write the most heartfelt, haunting lyrics, but her own lyrics are incredible, especially since she's only almost 13. I am very blessed in having such a gentle daughter. Peggy has always been placid.

Tonight we have a similar venue, thankfully not so late, then we prepare for a short break in the West Country next week. I badly need a holiday and so does Peg. We're going to a retreat, taking our musical instruments with us.

I wuv each and everyone who has trauma. We are beautiful just the way we are and I wuv that we connect on such deep and profound levels. Takes a special soul to be treated so poorly and manage to survive.
