I'm currently being examined for PTSD, and today was told that they have given me a temporary diagnosis: ICD F43.8 Other specified reactions to severe stress. Does any of you know this diagnosis? Googleing it, I couldn't find much useful.

My therapist told me that when a patient have been struggling with symptoms for many years, they usually change the diagnosis from PTSD to this one. She also told me that in the new ICD version, nr 11, Complex PTSD will finally be included as a separate diagnosis, but that isn't implemented in Norway yet. But when it is, they might use that on me instead.

I've read a lot about PTSD (complex and "normal"), but I don't know this one at all..
