I feel very small, much like when I was in a bad situation as a child. The flashbacks of that time are haunting me this afternoon. I feel sort of dissociated. I am safe now but it still feels like I'm in danger. I'm trying to remind myself I am safe now. I don't feel like an adult today. I need a hug.

I'm sorry you are struggling with this. I have found myself wanting to be as little as possible for a while now. I feel like a scared little child much of the time. It started well before we lost our beloved Schnoodle recently. But that has made it just all that much worse for me. I've pretty-much stopped frequenting the Games forum. There's just no pleasure in it for me anymore. I hope you begin to feel better (& stronger) soon.

This is what happens to me and is something my older sister triggers. I am VERY little and I experience a really frightened very young one or toddler or even baby in me and for the life of me I wish I could get a flashback showing me what she did to frighten me so much that all these years later I would experience this only in full body flashbacks with not knowing what is happening.
I have a hard time understanding how so many years later I experience this. My sister is four years older than me and that’s a big age difference. And my mother told me I was in with my sister when I was a baby til I was three. |
