hey, I know this will sound very strange, but my childhood was all messed up, and I was abused in many different ways, but that is not important, but is it normal to not care what happens to your body, and being raped, means nothing to you anymore, to me I don't care I'll just let them take what they need from me, I don't fear of being raped, I probably sound crazy, sorry

((((((Theresa Ann))))))))) Welcome to pc. You are wrong when you say it's not important. It's very important. It's important to how you feel and how you live. You should care what happens to your body--it's yours, which makes it special. Do you have anyone you talk to about this--a therapist, counsellor, priest, anyone? As you are looking around here, please check out the chats, we have regularly scheduled survior chats, I'm sorry I don't remember off hand when those are, but if you click on calendar above it will tell you. Keep posting here and I'm sure you'll find this site and the people here very helpful!!

HI Theresa Ann,

You dont sound crazy, you sound hurt, someone or somepeople have hurt you badly and this is your way of coping - know that you deserve more - that you are worth more and that things can change - somtimes it seems to take forever but they can change - is there any chance of you seeing a therapist? they can help.

take care of you because you ARE worthit P7
