I've been thinking the same. Running out of friends while my life collapses. Excellent.

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Ugh!!! I went to bed at 10:30pm and woke up at 12:30am and can't sleep. I've never felt more awake!! My narrator is done with my book. Just have to listen to the entire thing, make sure there are no...

Re: Couch 248: Curiouser and Curiouser

The plumbing was all replaced a few years before I bought, so that should be okay.

Ex-hankster seems more like an historic gas line to me… :poke:

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Has anyone gotten bad anxiety from Zofran? I feel like I'm going to jump out of my skin right now. My paperwork that came with it says that anxiety is a side effect and I read it online too. I just...

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Today turned out to be much better than I expected it to be! I had my monthly support group. Then, my long time counselor (who runs the group) squeezed me in for a last minute counseling session...

Re: Checking in: how are you?

Really in a weird state of mind - feeling low and self-sabotaging.

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

In my usual turn of events, life goes well for a short while till it comes crashing down. The past few nights have been rough and very emotional. Feeling guilty about being happy and about my ex - he...

Re: Couch 248: Curiouser and Curiouser

I am discovering one of the joys of historic houses is the unexpected surprises.

For instance, I had electricians here yesterday to replace a 76 year old subpanel.

TheGal I just want to say that I appreciate you here. You gave me really helpful advice on my first post, and that advice has helped to put me on a path of healing.

Re: Daily check in thread: Ups & Downs #33

Yesterday morning I felt depressed when I first got out of bed. But then I felt better when fixing breakfast. But while I was fixing breakfast I picked up something from the floor to throw away...

Re: Couch 248: Curiouser and Curiouser

I guess i would see somebody saying, "i might not be online for a while" as scary or manipulative, trying to get me to ask why. If they know the reason, i would prefer they start with that. My family...

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

I'm not sure they can understand. They are upper middle class. So when I say I'm broke it's different. I don't have the ability to take from a credit card, or get a loan. They say it's just budgeting...

Re: Checking in: how are you?

My day was terrible, and I have bad ones, but I am still wound up like a tick-clock.

I had a medication change and am worried about my one decent friend. I have

never felt quite like this...

Re: Couch 248: Curiouser and Curiouser

Thanks, LT.

I don't think she does anniversaries, so she may not be aware.
My calendar is a lot for me, so I don't expect anyone else to keep it.

(Except R, perhaps.)

It was a spike of...

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Ughh I've had the vomit through the nose. Things other than snot/boogers (blood?) shouldn't come out of the nose. It's illegal.

Sounds like you've been getting closer to answers to your health...

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Last night I threw up out of my nose. It was pretty gross. And it hurt. I was trying not to throw up so I had my mouth closed and then I burped and it just came out my nose onto my shirt.

Today I...

Re: Can a laundry detergent or soap allergy cause all this?

I can kinda see either/or being the case. If it's hepatitis, it's definitely not as bad now as it was when they caught it and I have maybe half the symptoms I initially did. I'd also be surprised if...

Re: Couch 248: Curiouser and Curiouser

Re: Bipolar Check-in #80

Re: This emotional abuse tactic

Part of what you talk about is being given step-by-step instructions, which is a form of gaslighting someone. As a Veteran of the army, I have been on this battlefield many times with my

mum's...

Re: This emotional abuse tactic

It sounds to me like they all feel inferior to you. It's like cats' "mounting behavior", trying to show who's boss.

But was it ever really in dispute? :poke:  Of course not. They show...
