"What's the average score?

100, +/- 25"

A year ago I got 61, now I got 59, and I was diagnosed with PTSD five years ago. I was then told that it was in remission.
Does that score mean that I am getting better or that I am suffering now of self-bias?

Two points is going to be statistically insignificant; it could be anything.

There is no "average" since it's wholly self-reported, so only about you; you can't compare to anyone else or a group or anything. It's just what you think/feel/report is wrong with you and only useful to you and perhaps your therapist/care givers.

For AK Angel: When I asked about a lower score I thought about
100+25=125 and 100-25=75...

(Around) 60 is lower than 100+/-25 and I thought that the results could be somehow not linear but on a Gauss curve... and that is possible when you get a lower score to simple serve yourself some bias in case you know that you have answered sincerely, to get your real sanity score. No one would bother about +/- 2 points - for me was just a clue that even although I did the test after a year and I totally forgot the questions and the answers, I got somehow the same score... but again lower than average.

It must have been my English that created a misunderstanding regarding my question related to lower scores than average.

Thanks Perna, I really hope I would not reach to have, to be a burden for a care giver! Just imagine what misunderstandings I could make :-)
