My score told me I might get some help and that was all the encouragement I really needed. I just wasn't certain if it just wasn't all bad health side affects and I was never going to ovecome it. I was doomed, never to get up and going. Now I know there's hope. Now where to go? The health clinic I had gone to many yrs. ago is now closed.

Seek the help of a psychiatrist. I have worked for physicians all my life and was treated by them. I never actually sat down and told then everything. They just said "here take this antidepressant". Needless to say at my first psychiatrist appointment I was told I was on the wrong medicine and put on a mood stabilizer and an antipsychotic. Hopefully now, after 20 years of the wrong meds, I will begin to feel like a person that doesn't want to die all the time. Good luck and be well!

Go to your county mental health agency (if you live in the US) and they will be able to help you. They cannot refuse you if you don't have insurance or can't afford to pay. They will be able to give you a sliding scale fee. It is worth a try. They can get you set up with a psychiatrist and a therapist.
