Holy guacomolie!!!
When I did this a year ago, it was around 120, this time, I have 14 serious concerns, and 5 milder ones. But, still my psychiatrist's "prescription" is to "JUST DEAL WITH IT!" Does anyone think that perhaps I should print this quiz result and send it to them?? Something has to change, there's not all that much room for it to get any worse, lol. Anyone else have a score this high??

I would print the results and take them to the psychiatrist on your next visit. He or she telling you to "just deal with it" is not a good sign of a quality doctor!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you had a high score. What bothered me most is that our psychiatrist sounded quite cold in his/her response. Maybe it's time to find another psychiatrist. Don't worry, there is always help out there.

The sanity test is not meant to be used as a diagnostic tool.

That is the job of your p'doc or therapist.

Having said that - it never hurts to get a second opinion from another p'doc or therapist. If my p'doc told me to "just deal with it" I wouldn't be that impressed.

Yeah, I've been dealing with this doc for two years now, he's taken all diagnosis off me except polydrug addiction, and claims that ALL of my problems stem purely from that. I have been nuts my whole life, that's how I ended up drinking and doing drugs to begin with. As a kid I always refused to take meds, now that I've accepted that I cannot make myself feel better, and WANT their help, I'm being told too bad. I have severe panic attacks to the point that I've become agoraphobic, yet my doc refuses to give me anything for it. I'm bipolar, but all he's willing to do is give me increasingly large doses of prozac which were making me manic. WHen I try to tell him about my symptoms, he interrupts me and tells me to give it up, I'm not getting meds. I don't know what to do- I have court next week and already know I'm not going to be able to stay there... I don't think I should be at risk of getting arrested because I can't manage my panic...
