hello, I am 14 and have taken the sanity test multiple times, with no avail. I always get the same score, 200 or slightly higher. I am brand new to this site, and I don't know exactly how to interpret this. Is it too high? Should I get help? Or is it just a little high? What does a normal persons score look like? I would be ever thankful if someone could help me understand. Thank you!

Yes! U ARE DISEASED!!
Joking. Your young, So your mind isn't fully developed (why am I giving you advice, I am no better) I personally wouldn't worry about it, but if there is something really bothering you maybe you can ask your parents for help. A normal persons score is zero, because no one is normal xD |

Quote:
The tests come with a notation that they are not a substitute for a diagnosis, but rather a guidline to help you find possible problems that you may need help with. Answers will vary with age as well. What is "normal" at one age, is not at another. When taking tests like those, keep in mind whether or not the problem you are testing for is interferring with your day to day functioning. Sam2 |

Don't freak out about a score given you by a free multiple choice test on a website. Particularly because it's pretty much on a sliding scale of how much you agree with a statement; I might stub my toe and rate that as 9/10 pain, someone else might rate it as 2/10. In the same way, we rate experiences differently, so a score on a test like that could well be completely inaccurate. As Sam said, you need to look at whether or not the problem you are testing for is interfering with your day to day functioning when deciding whether to get help.

What everyone else said. What also might be more helpful than looking at your overall score is looking at what the test identified as major and minor concerns? Since those have more validity apparently, and that might help you more. But having a high or low score doesn't really mean much.
