Well, I just joined. See my intro for some background. I feel I should have taken the Sanity Quiz prior to doing my intro.
I have shown PTS was a major issue. I guess I can share my scores that have me confused and confirmed my own thoughts. My depression raw score was 66. My PTS raw score was 100. Overall I rang in with a 139.
I feel the PTS stems from my 35 year marriage coming to an end roughly 7 years ago. Please note the issue is not linked to any childhood incident. Review my intro for any reference. I will not repeat the dialogue here again.
Now my question is what is the difference between depression and PTS? I feel the categories are linked, but I feel treatment in PTS would be the main concern. Can anyone recommend on line, off line books, any reference material to help me work through the “main” issue of PTS.
Thanks for any help you can offer. Looking forward for some feedback.

Hello snuffymc: Thanks for sharing your scores. I'm afraid I'm not qualified to respond to your questions. But I saw that no one had replied to your post. So I thought I would.

The only suggestion I can offer, I think, would be that you might take a look at some of the various videos on YouTube related to your areas of interest. PsychCentral has a YouTube channel with a lot of interesting videos. Another possible source of information would be California therapist Kati Morton. Kati uploads mental health videos onto her YouTube channel as well. Kati's audience is primarily young & female. But, she's very knowledgeable. Her videos are worth watching even for a couple of old goats like us! Plus, if you watch some of PsychCentral's or Kati's videos, there will be a column of related thumbnails you can check out & possibly stumble onto some interesting stuff.

Thanks for the reply. It appears most of the PTS references are due to childhood issues. So, I will cruise to see I anyone has any info as you have suggested slanted toward adult/divorce/family changes issues.
