What can i say? I was completely surprised that i received a score of 160 and had 10 serious concerns. I guess the slight shock came from issues that I suspected I might have but have never been addressed. I've been under the care of a therapist for about 5 months for Anxiety and Depression, and during this time I took an assessment which was very similar to the sanity test. I have yet to find out the results from this assessment though, every time I ask about it my therapist says that she needs to gather more information about some of my responses. However, recently we agreed that I have OCD tendencies. Yeah, like I didn't know that!
I'm curious about some of the "serious concerns". I know this isn't a true diagnostic test but how accurate is it? For example, it states that I have technology issues. I work in the computer field plus I do freelance consulting and system maintenance. 99% of the time I spend online is job related in one form or another. I'm aware that my obsessiveness plays a role in this, I constantly seek out new articles or tech briefs to read whether I need to or not. Plus, I do it when i'm not working and it seems I'm on mt laptop all the time. An addiction? Possibly! I won't minimize or deny but I feel that the score in that area may be a bit off. Here was the breakdown, let me know what you think: General Coping: 68 Depression: 69 Anxiety: 66 Phobias: 67 Mania and Bi-Polar Disorder: 55 Relationship Issues: 75 Smoking: 100 (i lol'd at that) Technology Issues: 88 Obsessions and Compulsions: 88 Borderline Traits: 71 |
