Today is my 28th day taking 100mgs of Luvox. It has stopped my panic attacks but I feel very jittery, have alot of nausea and wake up with weird thoughts that race thru my head which make it impossible to go back to sleep so when I wake up I have to get up out of bed. I also find that I'm still depressed. Has anyone else had these side effects? Do they go away eventually? Will higher dose help them go away or make them worse? Thanks for your help.

Luvox caused me to have jittery feelings like you and problems with sleep. I went off of it at around 75 mgs. because it was wreaking too much havoc. A higher dose for you might help your side effects. Please consult with your doctor and let him know what is going on. Good Luck!!!

Thank you very much for your reply. Seems that Luvox isn't widely used so it's hard to get any reveiws on it. I've been feeling better the past two days but I will still be calling my doctor to check in. hope you have a great day!!!

Hi coolbreeze,

Luvox made me nautious and jittery at first but that went away. As for the weird thoughts, that's what luvox took away for me. So meds are different for all people. i happen to think this is one of those wonder drugs because it took away all my ocd thoughts. Stick with it for a little while longer after talking with your doctor of course and see how it goes.

Love and Hugs,
Tara

Hi Tara,

Thanks for replying. I decided to wait a little longer before I contact my doctor ( I always feel like I'm bothering them when I call). The last three days I have felt a little better! I've been in a much brighter mood and the morning jitters seem to be lessening somewhat. Now if the weird dreams would go away I'd be totally happy. I really feel that the Luvox is having a positive affect on me! I have not had a panic attack since I began taking it and it doesn't make me feel like a zombie like most of the other antidepreesants I've tried. i'm glad its working for you too! Have a great day and thanks again!
