I take Naltrexone to help with alcohol cravings. Now that I've been sober a year, I decided to try going down to 50 mg a day from 100 with a view to going off it altogether in a few months. In case you didn't know, Naltrexone is a hideously expensive drug, and my insurance only covers 80%. So today I only had to pay $50, instead of my usual $100. This makes me very happy.

That's great you are able to move toward reducing the dose. Congratulations on being sober for a year.
