Yes, Seroquel does come in 50mg tablets. I don't see how you would be able to break a 100mg tablet into 4 pieces without crumbling it, its so tiny as it is. I just want to add that I think, as far as meds go, this is a good one. At least it has been for me. I'm not a regular med taker. I prefer to ride my bp bareback. But in a pinch, this one gives me what I need. Hope it's working out for you.

I'm pretty sure it dosen't come in 50mg. My sources say 25, 100, 200, 300. I've even given the industry reps a hard time about it. You have to take two 25's to make 50mg or just half a 100mg. It is usually MUCH cheaper to take half a larger pill than two of a smaller pill by the way (this goes for most drugs).

I couldn't answer. I've only got 100's. But I'd think the 100's would be cheaper than the 2x25.

ok I feel like I'm being over medicated. I take 800 mg of seroquel a day. I know that they are very expensive. one month supply is almost $1200. Yes seroquel comes in 25 mg 50 mg 100 mg 200 mg and 300 mg tablets. I take 100 mg tab in the am and the 3 200 mg and one 100 mg tab. Since I started taking the 200 mg they definitly cost more. Sometimes I wonder if I will be able to afford my meds on a monthly basis. I I would say that cutting 100 mg into 4 is a better deal. It would cost more if you got the 25 mg or even the 50 mg.

(btw I take 900 mg of lithium also)

Yikes Kathie... I'm sorry that this is an issue for you. Have you looked into drugs from Canada? Might help.

.......ummmmmm is what I take yikes how much is seroqil or just the price? I haven't gone broke yet. I sent in an application that will drop it down for like $26 a month. how much is seroqil I hope that I don't make too much money.

(thinkin that I don't wanna say what I take anymore)

It's for both. I get all screwy from 100 mg so 800 or so would probably just flat out kill me. Or mess me up pretty good. And as far as the price goes, good luck.

i know it is a lot but if you only knew some of the things that have happened to me in order for me to be this way. Sorry you seem a little closed minded about my dosages. To me you are..........are you?

Not really kathie. I'm just comparing it to my own and responding to how it would make me feel. I'm all about meds. I'm sorry I mis spoke. I meant no offense. It's just that that dose would mess me up. but you were probably worked up to that dose. I'm really sorry I came across as close minded. I've been through some crap as well. I'm sorry

thanks for reply'
it does not come in 50- right. Ive been using the 25s so i wouldnt have to use the striaght razor (I have si issues) to cut the 100s- which is tricky because they are so small and not scored. To Kathie btw 800 IS the therapuetic dose but ive got parts resistant to taking meds and replacing them w/stuff like exlax. I use seroquel for the intrusive stuff and also psychotic stuff as well as trying to practice mindfullness meditation. It awfully hard to be vigilent to both and stay on the meds . Thanks for replys

I can compleatly understand the si issues. I have them with taking pills and it is hard for me to take the correct doseage everyday with out going over. I just get a little "worried" sometimes that people are trying to "over medicate" me so that I go back in the hospital so they don't have to deal with me.
