Is Amantadine a medication option that can help relieve symptoms of akathisia?

I'm very curious about it because I read somewhere it can help RLS, but I know that's different.

I saw on wikipedia it can be used for EPS but you can't always trust it, plus that was only one site so I would like to find more info if possible.

Thanks,
Andy...

Amantadine is also used to treat Parkinson's disease and "Parkinson-like" symptoms such as stiffness and shaking that may be caused by the use of certain drugs.
