Well I took my meds like a good little girl lol although I had to fight myself to take it. It may be all in my head but I felt better today. More focused on things and not one panic attack. I guess I'll know in about a week if it really is helping me. I do't think you can feel affects of a antidepression drug 3-4 hours after taking it. Keep y'alls fingers crossed for me. Cause if it is the meds making me feel better then I think I have finally found the med for me. Thanks to you all that helped "talk" me into itAnd I'm kinda proud of myself for taking them and not freaking out immedietly after.

Good for you thunderbear!

Isn't it nice when you can feel good about yourself? I'm hoping celexa will work for you.

I take it you have tried others that didn't work so well? My hubby has been on it for a few years and it works well for him.

Keep thinking positive thoughts about feeling better

Good job Thunderbear. Celexa works really well for me. I noticed an improvement after a couple of days on it, but it was about 7 weeks before I really felt the full improvement & it was a huge difference. I went from being massively suicidal to optomistic.

And I don't have any particular side effects from it, other than loss of sex drive, which since I don't have a boyfriend at the moment isn't a problem.

I really hope that it works for you.
