I was wondering how sedating Geodon is?

And I was wondering if it caused wieght loss?

It was sedating for me and made me lose 6lbs in less than a month. Couldn't stay on it though, because it gave me a rash. I was only on 20mg once a day, after dinner.

I found it sedating. I generally was on about 60mg/day. I didn't have any weight loss though.

Sedation resulted for those I know who took it and a gradual weight loss, not gain. Good Luck.

It's like any antipsychotic, it's quite sedating. Some people do experience weight loss however I did not, although that does not mean that the next person will have the same experiences that I did.
