I have had great success with Lamictal in the past, but stopped taking all meds last winter. That was very bad and I found a new doc and am still getting back on just one thing at a time.

I still have depression as well as aggression, mixed most all the time.

I'm taking lithium and seroquel. It's time to add Lamictal now but I know many people who are having great success with Abililfy. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

Both are different drugs. Lamictal is a mood stabilizer while Abilify is an antipsychotic which helps boost depression meds. Both are good medications in their own classifications. Good Luck to you!

I'm on Lamictal, and it's fantastic for me so far!
