I used to take Abilify I have been off of it for over a year because I had a side effect. I kept having wetting accidents all the time so I was taking off of the Abilify. I am still having problems with wetting I almost have accidents or I do have accidents. Is this cause still from the Abilify? What can I do about this ?

I've been having wetting accidents too. I get a sudden urge to urinate. It's hard to make it to the bathroom without losing a few drops. I just stopped taking Abilify 2 weeks ago. I never thought is was from the med. I thought I was having a medical problem.

Any one else have this problem?

Something to think about. When a woman's body gets older, part of her urinary tract wears out and there is possible leakage that can occur. This area where leakage can occur can easily be repaired by a gynecologist. Something to think about instead of wondering if it is the Abilify. Good question though...........

I do not think that my urinary tract would wear out at 33 years old.

What an interesting question about Abilify-urinary problems!
I am currently taking Abilify (since Aug. last year). I always took a very low dose of it but recently I had a dosage increase. Now, the last week or two I have been having this urinary urgency/leakage problem and never thought about Abilify being the culprit. I thought it was anxiety or the cold weather, lol. That is definitely something to ask to my pdoc next time I see her!
Thanks for this!
