About a month and a half ago I started Cypralex 10mg and noticed I was experiencing more tiredness and fatigue. I mentioned it to my P-doc on my last visit and he increased it to 15mg . I seem to be getting worse . Could it be a side effect or should I just exercise more and eat well . This all sucks . Rant

Perhaps it has another name here in the States, Babysteps. I'm sorry you're having such a tough time with it. If we find another name, I can change the title to it and maybe someone will know how to help you.

Well, to help others to help, the active ingredient is Escitalopram (trade names Lexapro, Cipralex, Seroplex), and it is an SSRI

I battled on this. I was always tired, and at one stage I was on 20mg. I had no Libido either.
I changed to a drug called Edronax - Reboxetine (Noradrenaline re-uptake inhibitors (NARIs)) and have not looked back.

I take Lexapro. I'm sorry I didn't realize what it was when you posted about it. I've been on it for years. I can't tell you that it makes me tired. I take a lot of meds though, and have chronic fatigue, so I'm not a good person to help.

I do know it can take a month or two to get used to it, so I advise that yourself more time to get used to it. It's a wonderful med for me.

I'm not much help on the medication Babysteps but why not give it a bit more time to get in your system and then go from there, it's not nice to experience these side effects but once they get into your system properly, there could be no turning back and the med might suit you down to the ground.... Fingers crossed and plenty of hugs
