when does the nausea go away? I did ask my pcp about going off of it, and was told "no"... also taking dilantin and depakote, but I have been taking those for fifteen plus years, only the cymbalta is new... any help would be greatly appreciated

Im sorry, i never had nausea associated with my cymbalta, only my depakote. however, the other side effects of cymbalta, like dizziness and dry mouth, resolved themselves in a timely manner.. it wont be long before youre right as rain (ish)

For me, the nausea went away completely after about 5 days. Hang in there!

For me the nausea lasted probably about 6 weeks.

Thanks for your help, my friend said she lost weight at first on cymbalta because of the nausea, hopefully that will happen for me too. Just hate the feeling.....
