Amazing ! You are one of the only people I have ever heard of that could take medication for .......less than a month and get such wonderful results. I wish u well with Josh - sometimes having something or someone to give our attention too can do wonders !! ( I do hope that your Doctor told you HOW to wean off your medication)

Miss, I am VERY happy that you are feeling so much better, but please remember, when we start on medications for depression, they are intended to level out our moods. When we start feeling better, that's usually a sign that our medication is working... I've gotten off my medication before because I felt better and within a week, I was wanting to kill myself again. Got back on my medications and within a month things were starting to get better again. So you see, just because you feel better doesn't mean you don't need your medication anymore... It just means your medication is WORKING. I hope you take that into consideration. But I am glad you are feeling so much better. Hope it continues! Medication is not needed for me anymore.

I have been on Effexor since November 2004 and it has made such a difference that people have been commenting on how they're amazed on how much happier I've become.
