I have been on Effexor XR for 5 1/2 years. I currently take 600 mgs in the am (have for 1 1/2 yrs). I feel I need to add a medication to help with the ever increasing break through depression.

Has anyone added meds to help boost the effect of the effexor? Thank you for you help!!

Current meds:
Effexor 600 mgs.
provigil 200 mgs.
levoxyl 137 mcg.
clozaril 150 mgs.
remeron 15 mgs.

Hi. How about asking your Doctor to consider 5 or 10 mg. of Abilify. It is often used to boost up the anti-depressants. Hope this helps! Effexor XR +.....Cam...anyone???
