I was put on Trileptal for facial pain, but I've read that it can also be used as a stabilizer for bipolar. I am also bipolar. Is anyone on it? If so, then how much are you taking and how is it working out?

I take Trileptal as a mood stabilizer. I take 600 mg divided into a 300 mg am dose and a 300 mg pm dose. It works great for me. I don't have any of the crazy side effects I've had from all the other mood stabilizers I've tried. It is not the only med I take, but it is my main mood stabilizer. I give it 2 thumbs up.
