I have been taking Seroquel for over three years. I took it initially for mania. It had the effect of improving my sleep which had been poor for ages. For this reason, I stuck with it. This year I have been suffering lots of anxiety and depression. I have tried reducing the dosage but my sleep suffers straight away. I am convinced that the Seroquel is causing much of my problem. I felt so much better when I lowered the dosage. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow.

Does anyone have any ideas for possible alternative medication? Something that will help me stay asleep. I rarely have problems falling asleep. Without the medication, I wake at 2am to 4am.

Thanks..
