I feel like I am the only one that has read and wants immediate further studies on what is touted by the researchers as a 'magic drug' .. Doesn't anyone else that has had depresession or is a depressed bp2 care to push and push hard for this...
PLEASE read what is avail via a search here or on google about this. We need to be proactive.. I have had little help from all the meds and ect over the last 40y,, brief glimpses at what it must be like not to have depressionand anxiety as a daily diet... Here is an already available drug((is that the problem??)) that has a 70 per cent sucess rate on those where everything else has failed.. It shows that it NOT ONLY helps depression but helps the brain to heal after years of abuse and deterioration .. Why the professional community doesn't push for more research is a mystery.. By the way the side effects are almost non existant if the S(+)Ketamine version is used.. It is high time that we the patients get involved as patients of other illnesses push for new and better treatments.. If you are hurting and scared like me,, I think this will spur you to ask questions and nudge the mental health community .. Data on it is found in last years older info if you do a search on it.. Please do.. what do you think?? David |
