I went to see my Pdoc today and he decided to up my Effexor because my depression is coming back. I was wondering if other people know if I have to wait the 4 to 6 weeks to see an effect of a med increase, or if because I'm already on the med I will feel the effects of the increase sooner than that?
Thanks. |

I'm not sure about the effexor but I am glad your Pdoc is trying to help you. I would think that the dosage increase would take effect sooner than if you were starting fresh but I have no idea.

It should start helping sooner than later. Good luck.

I want to say it takes about 2 weeks to feel the full effect of a dosage increase.
