My question is, do you think this could be the Abilify I am on? Last fall my previous dr. raised me to 20mg of Abilify, and I lost total use of my hands due to numbness....couldn't use them for 20 mins at a time!
I now take 10mgs of Abilify, but the problem has returned to a lesser degree. Doubt if it has anything to do with the depakote, as I've taken that for nearly 8 years. Did anything like this ever happen to anybody out there? |

Kathleen, this didn't happen to me, but I think it is very important to talk to your prescriber about this. You many need a full work-up from a regular doctor too. This could be due to a number of things that are unrelated to the Abilify. I don't know if Abilify could be a factor too. Good luck.

I will Nicole, & thanks sunrise. But y'know, I'm a bit skeptical about his telling me the truth, as I was having another problem I got checked out thoroughly with my regular MD....who concluded it was the abilify. But I have an appt. with the psychiatrist on the 15th, and I'll let you know what he had to say. lol, but between shaking hands, memory issues and hair falling out from the depakote, I'm getting a bit fed up of this! Just as well I have a sense of humor.... |
