I recently started taking lunesta and have a question, just wondering if any of you have experienced any side effects.

I was taking ambien for months and it wasn't working as well and so my dr. prescribed lunesta, however, I've taken it for a week and it doesn't seem to work as well. Also, since I started taking it I am waking up some during the night and I'm sweating enough to soak through a tank top. It also leaves a terrible taste in my mouth the next morning.

Has anyone else noticed this as a side effect?

I think I will be going back to the ambien.

I had the same experience while on Lunesta. I was only on it for about two weeks before my doctor changed me to Thorazine but Lunesta wasn't nearly as good as I had heard it was. I woke up several times during the night and had restless nights. It was horrible, I always stayed tired because I didn't get enough sleep.
