Has anyone else taken doxepin before? I am taking 25mg for sleep, which is a super low dose, I don't fall asleep until about midnight and I get 6-7 hours of sleep. Problem is, the next day, I am so tired that I am non-functional.

Also, I feel like a robot again. No mood, just kind of existing. I hate feeling this way because it has happened before.

I've been taking it for a week now, so am going to try for another week if I can make it that long.

Has anyone had similar side effects? Is it normal? Is it just me?

I'm currently taking 200mg of Doxepin for sleep. It makes me really drowsy the next day too, but it's gotten much better over time. Maybe you could try taking your dose earlier? I've been on a lot of sleep meds before, and so far it's one of the better ones... Seroquel made me so dizzy I couldn't function, and ambien and others like it just seem like they completely stop working over time...

I've started taking it about seven at night. I'm still crazy tired the next day. Gonna try for a bit longer. It seems to make my mood really flat too...
