Is it a common side effect of Depakote ER (meaning should I be concerned or not)? I didn't notice this until my dose was increased to 1000mg a day. Now it's like I won't even realize I need to eat unless I look at the clock and check the time. The literature I had only mentioned weight gain and increase in appetite, so I'm curious.

Hey, nacht,

Probably the best and fastest way to get the information you want is by searching for "Depakote ER" and "appetite" or "Depakote ER" and "side effects." Much of what you will hear here is just anecdote. Serious scientific fact you'll only find out there on the net. Take care!

Yeah, I was kind of looking for anecdotal evidence, but you raise a good point. Thanks for replying
