I had been taking it as an adjunct to antidepressants for almost 8 years. I usually only took 20mg. a day. I was so tired of all the trouble getting it and the fact that it's a controlled substance and I hated being dependant on anything, so I stopped taking it on my own. My p-doc knows and ok'd it. Now my sleep pattern is so messed up. I am up almost all night and need to sleep all day. I fell into the deepest sleep late this afternoon , full of dreams and woke not having any idea where I was or what I was supposed to be doing. Is this the norm when stopping Dexidrine? What other surprises are in store for me??
