does anyone else have this problem it has been ongoing since i started taking it and it is really bothering me. i put vaseline on overnight and the chapped still doesn't go away. please help!

I have constantly chapped lips. Thanks to you starting this thread, it is occurring to me that meds may contribute to the problem, since they definitely are drying in other ways.
I find being in a hot, humid climate resolves the problem. But I'm not in that environment much. Putting on lip balm after eating and after brushing my teeth and after showering does a really good job. Even if I just manage to do it twice a day, it helps a lot. Blistex cream in the tube is my favorite product, because it seems to work right away. I've read that it is much used by professional models. |

Many medication cause dry mouth ( pretty much all meds do) dry mouth leads to very dry lips ... mine use to crack and bleed .. finally saw a dermatologist and they blamed it on my meds .. also saw my dentist and he said it was from my medications also . since i cant just stop the medications i just am never more than 20 feet from my chapstick .haha I have them all over the house ..
