I'm on 4, and it seems like a ton. I went from being unmedicated in April to being on 4 now, so it's quite a jump.
I hate that I have to be on meds to be like a functioning person, but I was a hot mess without them! I wish I could get off my meds, and maybe someday I will, or at least some of them, but for now I'll keep taking them, keep feeling broken for needing them. |

Right now I'm only on two, but that is the fewest I've been on in several years. I used to be on about 5 on average, but I've stabilized quite a bit and was able to get that number down. Took a long while to get there though. Try to be patient.

I am on 2 psych meds and a sleep med and a thyroid med. I am supposed to be on another med for sleep, but haven't been willing to try it yet because of major side effects from the last 2 i tried

4 psych, plus the rest, I stopped counting as long as I am functioning.

I'm on six, I went from one to six, its not where I want to be, but it is where I am. I understand how you feel.

Im on 4. Don't beat yourself up about it, it took me a long time to accept I needed medicine. I used to get upset and stop taking them. That is a bad idea!

I'm on 4 also. As long as I feel good I don't care how many I'm on

am on 3 meds for psych and some others for health reasons. I used to be on 10 or more a while back, learned more doesn't mean better, however my pdoc back then just gave me pills for every symptom I had and was drugged up most of a year.

I'm on 4 and been on the same combination for a couple of years now. It's working really well for me. I have tried to lower the dose on one, but immediately slipped back into depression. I'd like to think I can come off meds at some point, but I need to be stable longer, before I even think about trying.
Just wish I had insurance, as it's expensive. splitimage |

Right now I'm managing with 4. That might sound like a lot, but it's a big reduction from awhile back!

I kind of view psych meds the same way - something's biochemically wrong in my brain and I need meds to fix it. Or another way I look at it is, I can be miserable and not take meds, or I can take meds and be relatively happy. splitimage |

Essentially just the one, mirtazapine.
I am also prescribed zopiclone prn at present, as my life has been quite fraught. I only take it one or two nights a week. My treatment plan is minimum medication, and to learn to regulate my feelings through psychotherapy. |

Just one for now, but that's probably going to change in a couple weeks. Really not looking forward to the pharmaceutical circus!
