So I have started taking xanax for anxiety but I get soooooo tired. Is this normal? I am also on Lithium and Prozac for depression(possibly Bipolar).

I got very tired if the dose was too much for me. When I reduced it, I was ok.

I think when you initially start a med, it will make you very tired but that will wear off in time as your body gets used to it. Don't change the dosage...give it time to work for you and then see where you are.
I take xanax..the time released variey and it works well for me. I might add too that I have never had to up the dosage. Some people will say that as you get used to the dosage you will need more. For me that was never true and I always took just what was prescribed Hugs;
