Did your sleep get any better with antidepressant use? Or worse? Or stay the same?
I'm several months into Zoloft. It helps with the anxiety and severe depression but I feel like my sleep isn't quite as good. I haven't really felt well-rested. It could be due to other reasons though.

I can't comment on the long term effects of Zoloft on sleep. During my third week of taking it, horrible insomnia developed which I was able to moderate somewhat with 0.5 of Xanax. Then the forth week, my stress and anxiety levels had me climbing the walls and my blood pressure shot up to 180/115 one night. I went out, bought a pill splitter and got myself off the stuff.
I'm happy it's working for your anxiety and depression and hopefully the sleep issues go away. The one thing that all the ADs seem to have in common is that there are a wide range of reactions to each of them. Zoloft did not work for me. |
