sweepy, I've replied to various threads about Neurontin and I'll repeat here that it was a really good med for me. I took it only at night and it helped me to fall asleep and stay asleep; it had no hangover effect in the morning - I did make sure I took it and was in bed at least 9 hours before I had to get up.

It was really helpful and about the only med I would consider taking again.

It sounds like you are starting to feel the effects; give it time. As you may already know, side effects usually go away in a few weeks.
Thanks for this!

I take gabapentin (generic Neurontin) for sleep like Echoes did -- to help me fall asleep and stay asleep and it works great for that. I can't take more than 900mg (my pdoc said I could increase to as much as 1200mg) though because if I do I have a hangover effect.
Thanks for this!
